Hello, My Friends… AND Weekly Photo Challenge: Early Bird

breast cancer thirties 30s 30's bilateral mastectomy stage 3c IIIc illness

Again I am thoroughly amazed by how much time has passed since my last post…  But I couldn’t allow another day to pass without saying a quick “hello” to you…

I have so much to say, so much to share.  But finding the energy to tell you the things I’d like to tell you is something I’ve been struggling with.  Still.

Please know that I am grateful for everyone who continues to reach out to me or to have a passing thought about me — and/or my boys…  Your thoughts & kind words mean so much…

My warmest, most heartfelt good wishes for you all xxx

  1. I think of you often, and am always happy when I find a notification of a new post in my e-mail box. Many prayers and good wishes to you and your boys.

    • Thank you so very much, Barbara… I do, too. I only feel true peace when I’m near the sea (which isn’t very often!). I think I was born in the wrong city! 🙂 But I hope I have many sea visits ahead of me. Hoping you are able to visit the ocean soon, too. Thank you for your well wishes, especially for my boys. All my best…

  2. So good to see a post from you. I hope your strength returns and you have the energy to tell us more about how things are going.

Great shots! Photography is one of my hobbies as well. It’s very calming and allows one to really see what’s in front of the lens.

    • Thank you so much! It is so nice to see a comment from you. I think of you often & hope you are hanging in there.
I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of photography and am so glad you are able to enjoy this calming and freeing hobby, too.
Hope you are doing okay… I’ll have to pop over to your blog to check in & to see how you are feeling, but in the meantime I send my warmest wishes your way…

  3. You and your boys are always in my thoughts, its good to see you here whenever you have the energy to post. I send you love and strength from across the ocean, if you were here I’d offer a huge hug too… so will send that virtually xoxox

    • Aww, thank you, my friend. I think of you & your son so often, too. I hope you are doing okay & that your dad is well. I’m sending you the same love & strength & a huge hug across the sea, too. Please give my best to your sweet dad, too.
Many hugs & much love… xoxoxo

  4. i was thinking of you just the other day. So, i stopped and lit a candle and prayed. i do love your photos. i miss the sea. i never understood how anyone heals without the sea nearby.

    • Thank you so much, Jade… I miss it, too, though I’ve never lived near it. But living within a few (hundred, even) miles of the sea has been a lifelong wish that I hope to achieve one day. I agree that being near it or in it can be such a healing experience. Perhaps it is the Pisces in me, but when I am fortunate enough to be able to look at or put my toes into the salty sea, I finally feel whole again…

Thank you so much for your kind words about my photos. for your prayers, and for your comment. I hope you are soon able to visit the sea & to feel its comforting embrace.

      Sending my warmest wishes… xo
